That’s a deep question!
I am ruthlessly committed to leading a life of adventure and passion. THINGS I LOVE: travel, books, dogs, learning, wellness, exercise, photography, changing my hair and glasses (and confusing the hell out of people), roller skating, outdoorsy stuff, ice cream, and jumping up and down. I have the interests of a 6 year old. I’m okay with that. I don’t take myself too seriously.
I spent most of my adult life living in Heidelberg, Germany, and working in higher education. I traveled to 53 countries (so far), spent two Christmases in Iraq, broke a few hearts, spun a few yarns, and landed back in my native Nashville to be close to my family. I met the love of my life here and have actually put down some roots. Excited to see what I can blossom into.
“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.”
-Rainer Maria Rilke from Letter to A Young Poet
